This year we are planning a new feature to refresh the JfK format: while in the past the children have mainly been in front of the stage, the Jazzpilot*innen (German Jazz Union) were able to inspire us with the idea of also involving young amateur artists in the stage performance at the upcoming edition: The aim is to introduce them to jazz and musical improvisation in a playful way. To successfully implement this plan, we are still looking for a band that has experience with children's programs, as well as the desire to try this experiment with us!
