Whether in the critics, the professional world or the audience - everywhere you look, the Arne Jansen Trio is spoken of in the highest terms! Their pieces are equally virtuosic, enormously filigree and yet accessible. This is not least due to the fact that genre boundaries do not apply here. In addition to jazz, one discovers motifs from pop, rock or folklore again and again. Exciting yet tender, demanding yet always comprehensible, the unity of melody, sound image and arrangement succeeds. On an Africa tour for the Goethe-Institut in 2017, the Arne Jansen Trio played a concert with the legendary Senegalese Orchestra Baobab. A friendly cooperation developed that led to joint concerts in Dakar, Hannover and Jazz Baltica 2019. In addition to guitarist Arne Jansen, old (young) acquaintances have come together here: Robert Lucaciu on double bass and Moritz Baumgärtner on drums provide a special concert experience together with Jansen.
