Jazz calendar #288

From the editorial:
LET'S TALK ABOUT FISH'N'JAZZ
10 days of FISH'N'CHIPS are behind us - and it was a feast(food)! Michael Wollny's "Goldberg Tangents" with Leafcutter John and the incredible Alex Nowitz, the wonderfully light-footed London-Leipzig Brexit Big Band around Matthew Herbert, the overjoyed Joshua Redman, the tap-dancing Maggie Nicols, the radiant Leipzig Jazz Young Laureate Philipp Rumsch and and and. Viva Britannia!
There is nothing better than looking back on a festival like this and thanking all those who made this wonderful year possible in front of, behind, on, next to, above and below the stage: many, many thanks, all you official and volunteer helpers and assistants of the Jazzclub! Many thanks also to our sponsors, first and foremost the City of Leipzig and the Cultural Office as well as the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony.
We would also like to thank our premium partners, the Krostitzer Brewery, for the committed cooperation that began last year, as well as the BMW Leipzig branch for the many years of trusting partnership. In addition, a big thank you goes to the Munich Cultural Department for their valuable cooperation. In this special festival year, we are also proud to thank the British Council, the Music Fund and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as well as the Federal Agency for Civic Education for their support. Many thanks also to LVV and Sparkasse Leipzig, as well as the U.S. Consulate in Leipzig and the Israeli Embassy. Many thanks also to the many staff members of all festival venues where we have the privilege to be guests. Last but not least, we would also like to thank you, dear festival visitors, for your desire to discover new things.
And we can do that together in November - with Luca Sisera, Ketil Bjørnstad, whom we present together with Osburg Verlag and Connewitzer Verlagsbuchhandlung, and Eva Klesse, who presents her new quartet album.
But for now, let's have some fudge for dessert:
