LET'S TALK ABOUT JAZZ ... Spring cleaning.

The new year has only just begun "...and she's already talking about spring cleaning?" Well, yes. Yes. At least something like that. Because what I only recently learned (probably because I'd never considered the meaning of this month before) is that February is basically the month of cleaning. Its name is derived from the Latin "februare" - which means "to cleanse".

#This is a great motivation to start the new year with a fresh, tidy mind. And let's be honest: we all have that one drawer, that one compartment, that one corner where we hoard and store and collect things that really deserve to be tidied up.

Tidying up and spring cleaning are best (and quickest!) done to the accompaniment of the right music. That's why I highly recommend clicking through our Spotify playlist for February. Turn it up really loud and dance to the beat, er, mop. It makes tidying, cleaning and sorting so much easier.

This tip may not be entirely altruistic, as the playlist is also intended to get you in the mood for visiting our events in February, which you should definitely not miss.

The perfect reward for your spring cleaning can be found here: on February 2 with the Volker Heuken Sextett at naTo, on February 11 at the Prager Frühling Sunday cinema, where you can watch well-known jazz musicians making music in "Music for Black Pigeons", and finally on February 16 at the Enders, Chicco, Rossy "Microorganisms" concert at naTo.
