LET'S TALK ABOUT JAZZ ... and countless things.
The whole city smells of wild garlic. There are people everywhere - whether on the Sachsenbrücke bridge, on the sidewalks or in one of Leipzig's countless parks. That can only mean one thing: it's finally (almost or more or less) summer again in Leipzig!
What a long time we have waited for this! Have struggled through gray blankets of sky, through countless gray days, through a much too long winter. Finally, T-shirts, sunglasses and sandals again. We've made it, winter is over. And as we all know: In no other city is summer more beautiful than here!
But that also means: countless great things to do and events to attend in Leipzig. Whether it's finally paddling on the canal again, lying down in Clara Zetkin Park, or deciding to take advantage of at least one of the countless wonderful concerts on offer: Making decisions is not easy - but with all the wonderful possibilities, it's still reasonably easy to cope.
Every Tuesday is HMT Stage Night followed by a session at the Moritzbastei. Of course, there are also live jazz club concerts for you: On 8.6. Trio.Diktion and on 16.6. the Karoline Weidt Quartett will be on stage at Kulturhof Gohlis.
Other organizers in the city don't keep their feet still either: on 3.6. the Spielvereinigung Sued plays with Johannes Lauer, Almut Kühne and Ronny Graupe in the naTo, on 17.6. guitarist Werner Neumann talks about music and other anecdotes in his format "Werner Neumann meets..." with Wolfgang Schmid in the Kulturhof Gohlis.
See you where the music plays!
