The duo of Hilde Marie Holsen and Samuel Rohrer brings unique music to the ear. Holsen gently fuses the mournful, heavy sound of her trumpet with electronic elements. Rohrer blends the sounds of his drums with diverse electronics. Together, this creates a wide-ranging soundscape that takes you into the duo's very personal, electro-acoustic world.
In favor of establishing something of their own, Holsen and Rohrer move along frayed genre boundaries and contribute with their musical collaboration to making "contemporary" a self-evident description for this exciting coexistence of jazz and electronic music.
