"Twerk & Travel in Space" - the title of the album released in 2018 is program for this intergalactic crew.

The young band Rocket Men developed in spring 2016 from a group of six friends from Hamburg, Leipzig and Berlin. Fresh out of jazz studies and with a great interest in new sounds and influences, Rocket Men's music is situated between jazz, dub, electronic and hip hop. The "freedom of jazz" is an anchor, the "infinity of the universe" inspiration for music that takes a look from space at the sonic cosmos of a small planet. What sounds will remain of the earth once it is no more? As musical world travelers, the six musicians set out to merge their own background with everything they encounter on their journeys around the globe. Unpathetic and purposeful, they launch their rocket right away with the first chord towards outer space. Once beyond the stratosphere, they turn around and look towards the earth, creating a very personal distortion of the impressions of this world with their musical expedition - before they land back on earth and count down to the next launch.
