"It almost sounds like a cliché to call this music a sonic adventure. But if there are adventures in music at all, then definitely with Glow. Pablo Held has succeeded here in creating music of enormous richness. Music that not least creates a lot of free space for the listener's imagination. Even the titles of the pieces encourage to indulge in images that can be produced while listening. LP is simply a tribute to the medium of vinyl records, also in terms of sound. Outer Rim refers to a place from the film series "Star Wars", a place on the edge of the Empire, where its own laws prevail, a sphere between horror and fascinating mystery. Tone poem is quite literally simply a poem of tones, in which the boundary between melody and accompaniment is suspended. Run is meant to create an atmosphere of being rushed and chased - sounds that onomatopoeically deal with the idea of someone running away from something. Rebirth of A Song is the slow movement towards a theme that emerges at the very end of the recording. Pieces as little worlds of their own to be discovered. From a formation that also represents a world of its own. To call this line-up a "big band" would be completely wrong from the musical concept and even more so from the sound characteristics. But another term would not fit either: "tentet" would suggest that all musicians always play simultaneously, at least in principle. But this ensemble is much more open, more flexible. So you can agree that it's just something pretty big that Pablo Held has put on its feet here: in terms of personnel and music."(Source: Pirouet Records, Marion Hölczl)
