Joe Sachse Nils Wogram Duo "Free Rubble
Prices
Two musicians from different generations, raised in different social environments - two fundamentally different characters and yet two who understand each other intuitively, admire each other and make music together with a looseness as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
You can only play together like this if you understand each other on a completely different level, if you flow together. Helmut "Joe" Sachse, almost a quarter of a century older than Nils Wogram, had to pave his own way to jazz in the GDR against all odds - from dance and rock music to free playing and on to an unmistakable language on the instrument. Nils Wogram, on the other hand, grew into an established jazz scene at a completely different time and has made a name for himself both as an instrumentalist and with a whole series of bands that have worked together for many years. "Talkin 'bout my generation" quasi live and in color.
