Songs with titles like "After the Rain", "Sun Dance" or "Wind" sensitively transport moods from the experience of nature.

The term solastalgia describes the deep inner pain we feel when we realize that our environment is irreversibly changing due to human influence. Together with his band BLOSSOM, trumpeter Max Diller, who is now studying in Dresden after a stay in Jamaica for Musicians Without Borders, dedicates himself to this melancholy exploratory feeling. And to the question of what it does to us and culture in the making, as we live in times of global crisis and upheaval. Man at the center of a changing world? Songs with titles like "After the Rain", "Sun Dance" or "Wind" sensitively transport moods from the experience of nature and can awaken memories of things experienced. The young band with its unusual line-up of two drums, two bass clarinets, double bass and trumpet or flugelhorn succeeds in creating a familiar melancholy mood that can be experienced particularly impressively in the special atmosphere of the open-air stage on the grounds of the KAOS Kulturwerkstatt.
