Encounters at border points and coastal strips.
The solo debut album "Para Todos" by singer and bassist Natalie Greffel is to be understood as an intimate exploration of her transcontinental identity, between Brazil and another of her cultural identities in Mozambique. "Para Todos" is in no way an authentic Brazilian music album. Rather, it is a personal retelling of shared and imagined histories and newly formed kinships to honor the traditions of the past and develop a new sense of belonging. Greffel's music passes through a universe of its own, combining the old stories of plaintive jazz and earthy sounds with the joyful flows of MPB (Música popular brasileira), taking listeners through a celebration all their own. A musical journey full of charisma and liveliness that invites you to forget the boring daily routine and the worrying frown of tomorrow.
Natalie Greffel - vocals, bass / Carlos Corona - guitar / Johannes von Ballestrem - piano
