Magical-sublime melange of jazz and new music in an unusual line-up - "Across the English Channel" series

The musicians of this young trio come from two countries with a very special relationship to Europe and the EU: Switzerland and England.
Just like Lucia Cadotsch herself, the timeless songs on her debut album travel in circles and end up - not entirely by chance, they know each other in the scene - with the busy British pianist and organist Kit Downes and with Lucy Railton, cellist and longtime musical companion of Downes in the duo Tricko. Both are working on extended and upside-down reinterpretations of Cadotsch's pieces, which results in something like a (so far) only live existing B-side, but at the same time can be understood as an independent expression of a completely new trio.
