The first contact - a game with expectations and the appeal of the absurd.

Liz Kosack and Philipp Scholz are two musicians from Berlin and Leipzig, for whom it would not have been entirely improbable that they had already met in their musical careers. In fact, they fit together so well that we are surprised that this was not yet the case and want to quickly make up for this "omission", in the spirit of our festival motto "Transitions". As actually not to be expected otherwise, they have refused the offer for a previous rehearsal and meet for the first time on the day of the concert. They play two sets in the basement of the Neues Schauspiel, each in front of a different audience. The whole program is freely improvised. If you like melodic drumming and unrhythmic electronics, you can look forward to this world premiere.
