Six musicians from the vicinity of the jazz locations Cologne and Leipzig, who all know and musically appreciate each other in one way or another, but have never been on stage together in this constellation. Some of them can already be called established greats of the German jazz scene, others are on their way there in still young years. The musical axis between Cologne and Leipzig is an important and increasingly important one for connecting artistic scenes between East and West. Individual biographies, such as those of Theresia Philipp, who grew up in Dresden and has lived in Cologne since her studies, or Eva Klesse, who studied in Leipzig and is now a professor in Hanover, as well as existing supra-regional projects such as Stax, RADAR, Beyond w/ Bernhardt. or the Eva Klesse Quartet, help to maintain and deepen this contact across the country.
