Calm after the rush

The shark alert in Leipzig is lifted, the 37th Leipzig Jazz Days are history. What great concerts they were! Joshua Redman, Carla Bley, Thomas Hertel's "dead men walking" and and and. Nearly 6.500 spectators at the concerts mean again an increase to the already great festival last year.
We are now collecting and sorting ourselves out, drawing conclusions - and from now on we will go back to the Telegraph for the jazz club concerts. An Addis Ababa Leipzig project as well as Snarky Puppy and the Shai Maestro Trio from New York are ready to play, along with many other great bands. So just get the festival euphoria over, it's not hard at all.
