Actually, she was supposed to be on our stages in the fall. Actually, she had just played shows. And actually, she still had so much planned.

Far too soon and far too suddenly, the sad news reached us about the great free jazz trumpeter Jaimie Branch. The 39-year-old music talent passed away Monday at her home in New York City for reasons still unknown. This was announced by her record label "International Anthem". 

There is not much left for us to say except: Rest in peace, dear Jaimie. Hope it is nice where you are now.
