In its 42nd edition, the Leipziger Jazztage will reach "Fish'n'Chips" from October 11 to 20, 2018. Under the patronage of Leipzig's Lord Mayor Burkhard Jung, the festival brings together well over 100 international musicians on stage over 10 days and 10 venues, dedicated not only to the musical heritage of the UK, but also to its young, promising jazz scene. The Leipzig Jazz Days are organized by the Jazzclub Leipzig and made possible by the support of the Cultural Office of the City of Leipzig, the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony and the festival premium partners Ur-Krostitzer and BMW Niederlassung Leipzig, as well as other partners. This year, the British Council, the Music Fund and the Israeli Embassy are also sponsoring the festival.
