Prices

VVK: 17,50 €
AK: 20,00 €

A cooperation of WERK 2 & Leipziger Jazztage - Only last year the trio with Moses Yoofee on keys, Roman Klobe on bass and guitar and Noah Fürbringer on drums released their debut. Nevertheless, the three musicians from Berlin have long been well-known in the city. But even beyond the borders of the capital, their casual sound gets the audience bobbing.

A mix of jazz, funk and groove meets hip-hop, catchy melodies meet gentle solos - virtuosic and wonderfully sensitive at the same time. A description that awakens imaginations, no question. Nevertheless, one may be curious, because as the Moses Yoofee Trio itself says: "expectations are high and music is always in the making...".

Tremendous Aaron aka Aron Hentschel will be on stage as support. Already as a teenager, the drummer was an enthusiastic rap lover. On the constant search for samples for his own beats, he finally came to jazz via rap. Today, he mixes the two styles as the mood takes him. In doing so, he takes his cues from soul models of the 60s as well as drum sounds of the 90s boombap era. With this, Tremendous Aron finds his own sound, where jazz harmonies and improvisation meet loopy beats. We promise: A concert with head-nodding guarantee!
