Double bassist Robert Lucaciu will play his graduation concert with the exclusive sextet the force at St. Philip's Church on Oct. 22.

"belonging to something incomprehensible has fascinated me for a really long time. when i play music, but especially also when i don't. with my diploma concert i want to share the SEARCH for this "common denominator" with everyone who is invited to the philippus church.
overjoyed i am that i found this great SPACE, which not only sounds wonderful.
what is perhaps even more important are my unique colleagues. this evening will be a world premiere, because those six musicians have never been on stage together before.
the anticipation and gratitude that my dear friends are getting involved in such a WAGNIS couldn't be greater.
my musical influences are of course eclectic, from juljus klengel to haydn, britten to miles, wayne, achim to bvb, reinhard mey, reinald grebe and even further. focal points for this one concert might be braxton, cage or ayler.
