Double concert with SUM - Whoever turns to STAX' music succumbs to the charm of an unpretentious lightness, which, paired with technical high precision and ingenious gliding into each other of instrumental and effect-based sound surfaces, invites to dreamy floating away.

Four young virtuosos with cultural roots in South, West and East Germany, Ireland and Iran came together a few years ago between Leipzig, Cologne and Berlin. In 2019 they debuted with their first, eponymous album on the legendary German record label ACT. The second album "Suboptimal" was released in spring 2023 on the Cologne label Klaeng - and they are already working hard on another album. 

This Thursday evening at Schaubühne Lindenfels also comes up with two special features: The repertoire will be peppered with new works from the previously unreleased album - while Ebony Schneeweiß, who already designed the current album artwork and a music video, will accompany the listening experience with live visuals on the theme of "Out of Space". Before, during and after, you can look forward to a comic book drawn by her, which will be part of the upcoming album release.
