Norwegian saxophone guru Jan Garbarek and the incomparable British vocal group Hilliard Ensemble penetrate the boundaries between jazz and classical, sacred and profane, ancient and modern. Their search for a common denominator of jazz, folklore and sacred music finds its goal in melodies that have much soul and depth, beyond time and space.
