The renowned ensemble percussion-posaune leipzig celebrates its twentieth anniversary. Their venues have included Manhattan High School of Music, Constantine Basilica Trier, Hamburg Michel, Berlin Cathedral, Chorin Monastery, and venues in Austria, Denmark, Luxembourg, Hungary, and Switzerland. They perform Johann Sebastian Bach, contemporary works written especially for them, and jazz. The festival program includes Bach, Richard Strauss, Henry Walther, Stephan König, Wolfram Dix and a world premiere by Frank Schwemmer. In addition to Marton Palko and Stefan Wagner on tenor trombone, Joachim Gelsdorf (bass trombone) and Wolfram Dix (percussion), guest Michael Schönheit (organ) will perform.
