Double concert with Wachsmann, Moberg & Lytton -.
In their musical poetry performance Dard I Door they address the transgenerational pain within their family stories. For in addition to music, the two are united by the Iranian origins of their parents, who immigrated to Germany decades ago.

In the form of audio tapes, free improvisations and lyrical passages, the two musicians trace not only their own stories, but also, in a larger context, the stories of past generations in Iran and Germany. Based on personal (narrative) fragments, they reflect on pain and memories - between flight, migration and new beginnings. This raises the question of where reality and memory, what is said and what is experienced become blurred. In their search for an answer, Askari and Sabbagh approach themselves and in doing so also explore how their family history shapes their own self-image.
