Wanted immediately: Assistant to the management of the Jazzclub Leipzig

Since 1976, the Jazzclub Leipzig has organized the annual Leipziger Jazztage, one of the most traditional and renowned German jazz festivals and one of the musical highlights in Leipzig. Furthermore, the association organizes the annual concert series MusikZeit , organizes weekly Jazzclub Live concerts and publishes the Jazz Calendar every month.
We offer a full-time internship as an assistant to the management of the Jazzclub Leipzig for students of KMW, KuWi, MuWi and related humanities (as a compulsory internship according to the study regulations or as an internship accompanying training/studies). The activity includes all tasks of the association with its statutory objectives. The focus is on the festival organization for the 40th Leipziger Jazztage, which will take place from September 29 to October 8, 2016.

- good command of English
- independent, self-reliant work
- talent for improvisation, spontaneous readiness for action
