"Post-Jazz-Free-Noise" - Leipzig guitarist Jonas Dorn presents new album with brilliant trio.

In the haze of Krautrock icon Hans-Joachim Irmler, guitarist Jonas Dorn experimented early on with the radical break between sound and form. His compositions, tailor-made for this trio, set the scene for the world class of a Bill Elgart and yet let it appear in an unusual light. To this end, Jonas Dorn makes use of various compositional techniques and contrasts strictly serial concepts with driving jazz pulses and free forms, only to collapse again in the melancholy harmony of pop or Pomeranian Christmas carols. In addition, the spectrum is also expanded on the sound level by lo-fi noise and analog synthesizers. Here open cables, reverberation spirals, toy pianos, prepared cassettes and radios are used. The trio's first joint album "Dreifinger" will be released on the Leipzig label Lakeland Records.
