The HMT Stage Night is back!

The session in cooperation with Jazzclub and HMT Leipzig will take place every Tuesday up to and including July 6 on the outdoor grounds of Villa Hasenholz.

After the live club Telegraph was unfortunately closed in December 2019, it had also become quiet around the otherwise regular Tuesday session "HMT Stage Night". But the wait was over: on 08 June it finally started again and the professors of HMT Leipzig (Jazz/Popular Music) opened a new era of Stage Night on the grounds of Villa Hasenholz. Sitting outdoors, over 150 visitors* listened to jazz sounds and enjoyed one of the first balmy summer evenings. The idyllic atmosphere of the Villa garden in the north-west of Leipzig invited to take a little time out from everyday life between tall blades of grass and animals jumping around and to fully engage in the combination of jazz and nature. 

At the beginning of the evening, the last warm rays of sunshine of the day tickled the faces before the rising evening redness bathed the open-air concert in a particularly dreamy mood. The gently melancholic, at times excitingly moving sounds of The Profs and the subsequent session, along with tasty drinks and three friendly sheep who stole the odd blade of grass between the rows of seats, turned this evening into an almost Elysian experience. 

And that's not all: HMT Stage Night will take place every Tuesday from 7 to 10 p.m. up to and including July 6. The stage will be played by changing student bands and then the stage will be opened for the session.
