Lost Places event series - one tour, three concerts. The two other acts are Laura Totenhagen and Maria Reich. (Start: 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.)

The preference for the power of heavy tones - this could be one of the unifying elements in this extraordinary First Date Duo. The duo is composed of none other than London-based bassist Ruth Goller and Leipzig-based guitarist and composer Jonas Dorn. Since we don't know exactly what will result from this interaction, we can't promise anything, but we believe in a great musical spectacle ourselves!

Ruth Goller laid the foundations for the British jazz renaissance with her "thundering bass guitar hooks", which were praised by the Guardian. For Goller, jazz is much more about improvisation, which can also lead to reggae or hip hop, than a rigid construct of a genre.

Jonas Dorn experimented with the radical break between sound and form early on in the circle of Krautrock icon Hans-Joachim Irmler. For a good 15 years now, the guitarist and composer has been moving confidently in the field of tension between Krautrock, experimental music, jazz and pop.

The series of new encounters are established in our festival program now for the third year in a row.
