Double concert with TAU5 - With Moritz von Oswald not only an extremely talented musician, producer and label owner, but also a real legend of electronic music is on our festival stages. We have the great honor to listen and watch Moritz von Oswald perform a great DJ set.

Moritz von Oswald is someone who brought Detroit Techno to Germany. Someone who established new sounds of minimal and dub, establishing traditions in electronic music that continue to this day. And we celebrate that!

Originally trained as a classical drummer, von Oswald set out on the path of electronic sounds as early as the 1980s and eventually became one of the most influential representatives of techno. Fans of this music can, of course, watch countless documentaries about the history of techno in Germany. But we recommend to take a look at the career of Oswalds. Because anyone who does so will automatically embark on an imaginative foray through some of the most important developments, places and people in the history of electronic music.

At the 46th Leipziger Jazztage we have the great honor to listen and watch Moritz von Oswald performing a DJ set.
