Lecture and picture show by ECHO Jazz award-winning photographer Arne Reimer

 Leipzig-based photographer Arne Reimer was at home with 100 American jazz heroes for his two "American Jazz Heroes" books (hence the name, I guess). For this he received an ECHO Jazz award in 2017 (yes, that still existed back then). Before the big closing concert evening of the 42nd Leipzig Jazz Days, he will tell a few anecdotes from these visits in the concert foyer of the Opera House - and he will show pictures!
Free admission, but only with a ticket for the subsequent opera concerts.
