"Cinematic Jazz" with LU:V and the Gewandhaus Children's Choir to kick off the 39th Leipzig Jazz Days on Sept. 20 at Schaubühne Lindenfels.

The Leipzig jazz trio LU:V and the Gewandhaus Children's Choir perform live the music to the puppet animation film "Der Koffer" (GDR 1982) by Kurt Weiler, newly created especially by LU:V, as well as other DEFA and DIAF animation films and jazz-influenced choral pieces.
A cooperation of Gewandhaus, Jazzclub Leipzig and Schaubühne Lindenfels with the kind support of the DEFA Foundation and the German Institute for Animated Film.
The festival pass of the 39th Leipziger Jazztage is not valid for this concert.
