Double concert with Dave Gisler Trio feat. David Murray - Normally now a cheerful announcement text about Anteloper would be to be read. But as so often in life everything comes differently than thought. 

Anteloper - that was Jaimie Branch on trumpet and Jason Nazary on drums and electronics.

At the end of August we received the sad news that Jaimie Branch had died unexpectedly. There was not much left to say, except: Rest in peace, dear Jaimie. Hope it is nice where you are now.

Instead of being able to watch Jaimie make music at the Leipzig Jazz Days, we are dedicating an entire evening to her: "for jaimie".

Jason Nazary and Lester St. Louis present a musical tribute to their friend, collaborator and co-conspirator Jaimie Breezy Branch as the duo 4evaBreezy. The program includes improvisations and new music inspired by the great composer and trumpeter, as well as pieces from Fly or Die and Anteloper.
