"Songs that move me": Interview with Myrsini Bekakou
In the run-up to her concert at the 48th Leipziger Jazztage, we spoke to Leipzig newcomer Myrsini Bekakou about her new music project, the Myrsini Bekakou Quartet. In it, the trained violinist moves between contemporary jazz and traditional Greek music.
In an interview, she told us why she likes to bring these different worlds together, whether her music inspires people to dance and what memories she has of the Jazz Days.
