From June 24 to July 3, spectators can once again marvel at extraordinary concerts in breathtaking alpine landscapes: The South Tyrolean Jazz Festival celebrates its birthday! And yes, it must be said, the South Tyrolean Festival is also getting on in years - but what does a number say? After all, you are only as old as you feel. But suddenly there is this 4 in front of the zero - and while at this point many people are throwing their hands up in horror and are almost afraid that their life is running out in front of their mind's eye, the South Tyrolean Jazz Festival is appropriately celebrating its fourth round birthday in grand style! And we congratulate from the bottom of our hearts, because over the years of collaboration and cooperation we have somehow become friends. 

Openness to the world and the joy of experimentation - these are the things that characterize the South Tyrolean Jazz Festival and which the organizers have always preserved in 4 decades of work. For ten years, the non-profit cultural association behind it has been conceiving the festivals with country focuses. And now, on the occasion of its 40th anniversary, the festival presents highlights from the past 10 years and has invited bands and soloists from various corners of Europe - including Leipzig - for this exclusive occasion: From the end of June to the beginning of July, the festival offers a total of 58 concerts at over 30 different venues throughout South Tyrol.
