At the end of September, Playtime at mjut will be opened by the quartet She Just_Left. The FLINTA* grouping knows many genre names, but one in particular stands out: avant-garde.

Since May 2022, Mjut opens its doors monthly for an evening of concerts followed by an open stage session. The remarkable event series thus provides a new insight into the often quite delimited club scene; the enjoyment or creation of (improvised) live music.

At the end of September Playtime opens the quartet She Just_Left. The FLINTA* group knows many genre names, but one in particular stands in the foreground: avant-garde. The self-description reads: "The resistance against conformity, against expectations of others gets a space through voice, violin, bass and drums. Pizzicato, noise, rap and melancholy, serious and not serious, space and precision. Future?"

Accordingly, the political is inherent in the quartet. Criticism of capitalism sounds - but this does not at all mean preaching from the stage! Questions are asked and negotiated both lyrically and musically - and this at the same time concisely and sophisticated.

Playtime begins at 8:15 p.m. in August and September and 9 p.m. beginning in October, with the Open Stage Session scheduled to begin at 10 p.m.
