Changes in application requirements and deadline for the Leipzig Jazz Young Talent Award of the Marion Ermer Foundation.

The application documents (postmark) can be submitted in triplicate to the Cultural Office of the City of Leipzig, Neues Rathaus, Martin-Luther-Ring 4-6, 04109 Leipzig, until March 31, 2014 (jazz music work sample as a demo, information on the artistic career, description and reflection of current jazz music activities, curriculum vitae).
Applications are open to jazz musicians who are not older than 30 years at the time of the call for applications and who live in the Leipzig area.
The Leipzig Jazz Young Talent Award of the Marion-Ermer-Foundation is awarded for the 18th time and is endowed with 6,500 euros, which are provided by the foundation.
The award ceremony by the Mayor of Culture of the City of Leipzig as well as the award winners' concert will again take place as part of the Leipzig Jazz Days in cooperation with Jazzclub Leipzig e. V..
The 38th Leipzig Jazz Days will take place from September 11 to 20, 2014.
