Call for entries: Three valuable master instruments for young Saxon musicians
A career only progresses with a good musical instrument. This year, to support talented young musicians, the Cultural Foundation is awarding three valuable master instruments from its Musical Instrument Fund: a newly acquired concert guitar, an English horn and a double bass. The instruments are provided on loan for a period of three years, with the possibility of an extension for a further two years.

In particular, members of the Saxon state youth ensembles, prize winners of the Saxon state competition Jugend musiziert Sachsen as well as young graduates or students at the Saxon music academies can apply as scholarship holders.
Applications should be sent to the Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen, Ralph Lindner, Stiftungsdirektor, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 56, 01109 Dresden, by November 15, 2013. The application must be accompanied by a short biography, testimonials, recommendations and evaluations, as well as information about prizes and participation in competitions.
