Double concert with Sofia Jernberg & Mette Rasmussen.
In her project, Camila Nebbia explores new perspectives: The sound of the saxophonist, who comes from Buenos Aires and lives in Berlin, moves between jazz, post-punk and experimental music. Together with her band, she creates pulsating soundscapes that invite you to think upside down.

When Camila Nebbia plays the tenor saxophone, she brings opposites together. Whispering, wheezing and singing with full force, she unites light registers with dark ones, inspired by the Hanged Man in the Tarot, without fear of collision. Word of the energy emanating from her concerts has spread in recent years: Jazzfest Berlin called her one of the »most interesting up-and-coming free jazz saxophonists in the current international music landscape« in 2023. She was also nominated for this year's German Jazz Award in the woodwind category. In the Berlin jazz scene, Nebbia found congenial musicians for her new project. Together, the quintet creates penetrating rhythms and melodies that go through heart and soul.
