In 2026, everything will remain the same in Messestadt: the year will begin in style with a Jazzclub by the HMT Big Band! Led for 25 years now by the incomparable arranger and composer Rolf von Nordenskjöld, this year the band will once again present a colorful bouquet of evergreens and long-buried insider tips.

The current program includes pieces by Don Ellis, Charles Mingus, Thad Jones, and Dizzy Gillespie, among others. In addition, there are several compositions penned by Nordenskjöld and his students. A special highlight is the piece "Move Your Hand," sung by Daniel Seif, which gave the current program its title.

However, if you don't have the patience to wait until the next HMT Big Band concert, you can find a remedy in the meantime: The two concerts will be recorded and released as an LP afterwards. Well then, happy swinging!
