A shared resonance space between stage and audience - SENZA PESO makes it possible.

Flying for just a brief, fleeting moment - that is the dream of many people. SENZA PESO, Luca Sizera's new project, promises just that: music that catapults us into the air and carries us away - to a new, unknown place.

The Swiss double bassist's choice of the Italian project title, which can be translated into German as "weightless", is therefore probably not entirely coincidental. And indeed, the unlimited freedom that we earthlings believe we recognize in aerial life - and which we constantly strive for - is also reflected in the way the musicians play together. Instead of playing in a classical, and thus manifest, way according to sheet music, the members of SENZA PESO communicate with each other using graphic notation - an innovative form of musical interaction that enables free and spontaneous interplay. 

The aesthetically prepared, graphic presentation will be shown to everyone on a large projector during the concert. The audience is thus far more than a silent observer - and instead becomes part of the shared resonance space. The sound result is always surprising and moves at the interface of contemporary improvisation, avant-garde and new music.

Those who are part of this collective event will then carry a certainty within them: the future is open - so let's start shaping it!
