Exhibition opening

The Leipzig photographer exhibits some of the pictures he took at jazz concerts in Leipzig in the 1980s and 1990s. The photos are shown for the first time (or some for the first time since 1993). Matthias Hildebrand has been working photographically for decades, and the black-and-white pictures taken at jazz concerts have been his long-term field of work. A small part of his work was already shown in 1988 in the book "15 Jahre ,jazzclub leipzig' - Versuch einer Chronik", his photos form the framework of the book "Flamingos und andere Paradiesvögel - 40 Jahre Leipziger Jazztage".

The exhibition in the small café in the music district invites you to combine your visit with breakfast or coffee and to reminisce with others about one or another great concert.

The exhibition will run until the end of the year.
